Small world indeed!

Funny how things happen sometimes. I'm at my old office, where I used to work full time and now freelance. Bump into an old work friend, Kurt, and we're chatting about nothing in particular. And I say, "I'm going to Guatemala on Thursday this week." Kurt says, "Oh, can you deliver a package for me?" Turns out, Kurt and his wife adopted a little girl from Guatemala a few years ago. She's 4 now. They are still in touch with the foster family of their daughter in Guatemala City, and need to get something to them, and regular mail delivery tends to be a disaster. So, I'll happily be delivery boy. And, Kurt knows a few things about farming in Guatemala that will be useful when I'm there. I'm glad I bumped into Kurt today.
