This video can give you some idea of how we do the floors in the houses we build. Joey mixes cement and sand, Stephanie and Kelci load it in a wheelbarrow, and Coulter puts it inside the house. Rock and water are later added, and when the mixture is like "butter" we spread it out for a floor. The side walls of the house serve as the forms. Final slab is about 3 inches thick, and this family will no longer live on dirt.
