El Rajon, and The Graduate

  1. Top 2 photos: These 2 pix try to show you what it is like in El Rajon, the village we're building in. Can you see how steep it is? Can you see what would happen with 16 inches of rain? The one picture shows mud on the road to El Rajon, a very minor mud slide, relatively speaking.

Next 2: The graduation party, Keeci in her cap and gown. Ryan give her the valedictorian award in this class of graduates. She got a standing ovation, she's the most loved person in our whole mission team. I'm sick and tired of all the attention she gets.

Bottom photo: Out of focus, but this is Mt. Aqua, we see it every morning from the mission house. It's not the mountain that erupted recently, that's Mt. Pecaya. Mt. Aqua does "vent" just about every day. That puff of smoke is a venting, it's a good thing, it means it does not blow. There's a little life lesson there, yes? Vent every now and then, but don't blow.
